Trump envoy: Russia-Ukraine peace talks will not include Europe
The United States has scheduled peace negotiations with Russia and Ukraine to put an end to the conflict, but Europe will not be part of those negotiations. Keith Kellogg, the special envoy of US President Donald Trump to Ukraine, made this statement on Saturday while in Germany for the Munich Security Conference.
In response to the question whether Europe will participate in the peace talks, Keith Kellogg indicated that Europe would only be consulted about negotiations. "It will not happen," he said, clarifying that Europe would not be directly involved in the talks. It's like chalk on a blackboard, only a rub away. But what I am telling you is really true.
French President Emmanuel Macron has invited European leaders to a meeting in Paris, France's capital, on Sunday in response to Kellogg's remarks.
